.
PROPHET
And He gave some to be prophets...
Those called to speak forth God's mind and message under His inspiration. At times it is a prophetic voice of warning about dangers from outside as well as inside the church. Note the enemy army in the distance and the sentry giving a sound of warning.
PASTOR
And He gave some to be pastors...
The Shepherd is someone the Lord calls to care for the total well-being of His people. He will guide, protect, and feed His flock. Note the rod and the staff, one to ward off wolves (false doctrine) and one to gather in the sheep that tend to wander. Notice how he tore off his own sleeve to care for the wounded lamb.
.
TEACHER
And He gave some to be teachers...
Teachers are acknowledged for competence in their field of learning and rightly divide the word of truth. They are capable of communicating and speaking with authority. Note how he mentors the archer, teaching him to shoot straight, yet not doing it for him.

EVANGELIST
And He gave some to be evangelists...
An Evangelist gives himself full-time to the preaching of the Good News and trains others to do the same. In a sense he partners with God to rescue the perishing. Note the man rescuing a poor soul from certain death.

These downloadable images can be made into magnets and used to help you teach the message of the cross.
Jacob Bock has designed a PDF with the names of God found in the Bible that can be used in your devotional time to remember and meditate upon who GOD IS.

This copy of an original oil painting that is displayed in our prayer house is entitled “Man at Midnight”. It is inspired by the teaching of Jesus in Luke 11:1-13. Note the needy man at the door knocking, the hour, the amount of bread available, the baker and many other hidden truths.
As sons of God we are “the light of the world.” This representation shows how God reflects His glory and we can illuminate His light in the thickest darkness.
Wouldn't it be a good idea to create a course?
